Imagine you’ve landed a job interview for a position that could change your life—but you have nothing professional to wear, no one to help you prepare, and you’re feeling unsure of yourself. That’s the reality for many women trying to take that next step toward a better future. And that’s exactly where Dress for Success Cincinnati can help.
I’m so excited to join this incredible nonprofit to help women not only look the part but truly feel confident and prepared to succeed in the workplace—and in life. At its core, Dress for Success Cincinnati helps women become economically independent.
That means providing more than just clothes – although the clothes make a big impact! When a woman is referred to or signs up for one of DFSC’s programs, she gets access to professional attire for job interviews, plus coaching, resume help, job search advice, and even networking opportunities. Once she lands the job, she’s invited back for more outfits—and the support doesn’t stop there. The organization offers leadership training, mentorship, career coaching, and more to help women grow their careers long-term. It’s all about helping women thrive and meeting them where they are in their journey.
While the mission of Dress for Success Cincinnati is incredibly impactful, it cannot function without the ongoing support of the community—which is why I’m thrilled to lead fundraising and development efforts so we can provide so many services free of charge to the women who need them most. Every dollar raised and every item donated goes toward helping real women in our community—women who need someone in their corner to provide whatever type of support is needed.
Together we can help women overcome obstacles, pursue their dreams, and make lasting contributions to their families, communities, and the world. Our work is about building a brighter future – and sometimes, that future starts with a blazer, a pair of heels, and someone who believes in you. I hope you’ll join me in getting involved, whether through the $14.50 monthly donation, a sponsorship opportunity, or a clothing donation. Let’s lift each other up—one woman, one outfit, one dream fulfilled, one success story at a time!
