At Dress for Success Cincinnati, we are deeply inspired during the month of March as we reflect on the trailblazers who came before us. We honor the heroes of past generations who fought for women’s equality—those who secured the right to vote, the right to financial independence, the right to equal pay, the right to speak out, and the right to influence society. Their courage and determination changed the world.
This year’s theme is “Moving Forward Together: Women Educating & Inspiring Generations.” It celebrates the collective strength and influence of women who have dedicated their lives to education, mentorship, and leadership. Through their efforts, they have become inspirations for all generations—both past and present. Throughout history, the sharing of knowledge and information has been a powerful catalyst for change. Honest, open dialogue and the exchange of insights create opportunities for collaboration, promoting the well-being of individuals, communities, and society as a whole.
Dress for Success Cincinnati embodies this theme in everything we do. By warmly welcoming each client, listening to their unique needs, and offering support, resources, networking opportunities, and educational tools, we empower women to move forward and thrive. Our mission is to meet any individual need a woman may have, helping them realize their full potential.

The strength of our team and network, along with the passion in our hearts, is felt by every woman we serve. Every time you raise your hand, participate in an event, walk through our doors, attend a meeting or fundraiser, make a donation (whether clothing or otherwise), shop at Portaluca Boutique, or even share our mission with a friend or stranger—it makes a difference. Keep up the great work! We must continue our dedicated service, passionate work, and positive energy—not only to meet the needs of our clients but to help them achieve their dreams. When our clients feel desperate, discouraged, or alone, we will be there for them—every step of the way.

Last year, DFSC served over 1,300 women—a 37% increase from the previous year! 89% of those women were living under 200% of the federal poverty level. This year, our goal is to empower 1,400 women through our styling and thriving services. Your contribution will help us make this possible.
