Your $20 can buy:

A week's supplies for our Career Center
Materials for one HigherHER career development class
A pair of work boots for a woman's employment attire
A pair of scrubs for a woman seeking a healthcare job
10 bus passes to help disadvantaged women get to the job interviews they've worked so hard to obtain

You may request a Tuck a $20 envelope for your cash or check when you drop off your clothing donation. This little extra will do so much!

Donate Clothing

Your donations of women’s new or nearly new clothing, shoes and accessories keep us going! Interview and work appropriate items support our StyleHER program, helping women dress to get a job and be successful in the workplace.

Due to the upcoming Portaluca Warehouse Sale, clothing donations will be PAUSED starting on 10/7 and will resume on 10/15. We are not responsible for any donations left outside during this time. Thank you for your understanding!

We accept donations Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Donations are also accepted on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Unfortunately, we cannot pick up your donation.

Please note that we do pause donations quarterly during the Portaluca Warehouse Sale. If donations are paused, it will be noted on a blue banner at the top of our website. You can also check our social media or give us a call at 513.651.3372.

Clothing that Can Be Donated

All donations must be ready-to-wear and free from odors, stains or tears. We accept new and nearly new:

Blazers
Blouses
Bras (new with tags)
Coats
Dresses
New unopened pantyhose and knee highs
Pants
Purses/handbags
Scarves
Scrubs
Shoes (especially large and wide sizes)
Skirts
Suits – pants and skirts (especially plus sizes)
Jackets
Jewelry

Items We Cannot Accept

Items that are soiled, stained or damaged
Clothing with cigarette smoke, moth-ball or other odors
Used cosmetics or hosiery
Men’s or children's clothing, toys or equipment (Click here to view where to donate men's clothing)
Undergarments, unless they are new in the package or new with tags
Lingerie, pajamas or robes
Household items
Sporting equipment
Clothing that is out-of-date/more than five years old

Please do not bring donations on hangers.

We are unable to return bins boxes and bags. Please bring donations in bags or boxes you do not need back.

No estates, please.

Scrubs
Plus size clothing (size 14 - 32)
Shoes (flats, 2" inch heels, gym shoes, steel toed boots)
Handbags
Toiletries (toothpaste & toothbrush kits, deodorant, etc.)
Feminine hygiene products (full boxes or kits with 5 tampons and pads in a ziplock bag)

Designer, dressy and casual items are sold at our Portaluca fashion resale boutique. All Portaluca proceeds go to support the programs and services offered by Dress for Success Cincinnati.
